Youngest Scuba Diver from Odisha

Became a scuba diver at the age of 10 in August 2020 when she got her Junior Open Water Scuba Diver license from PADI in UAE. She became the youngest scuba diver from Odisha (Indian state on the east coast).

Depths of Dedication: Journey to 70 Feet

On her birthday, 9th June 2022, Tisya became Odisha’s youngest Junior Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver by diving 70 feet underwater. This milestone highlighted her growing skills and dedication to mastering the art of scuba diving.

Underwater Festival Greetings

In September 2021, Tisya combined her love for scuba diving with her cultural roots by sending out festival greetings on the occasion of Nuakhai, Odisha’s premier harvest festival. Alongside her father, she dived 40 feet into the Gulf of Oman, creating a unique way to celebrate this traditional festival underwater.

Milestone Dives with Sharks

Father and daughter marked their special milestones together in the Maldives, with Priyadarshee completing his 50th dive and Tisya achieving her 25th dive. The memorable experience of diving with hundreds of nurse sharks at the Alimatha Dive Site showcased their shared passion for underwater adventures.

Night Dive with Manta Rays

In a thrilling first-time experience, Tisya and her father went for a night dive with reef manta rays in the Maldives. Witnessing these majestic creatures, with wingspans reaching up to 18 feet, under the cover of darkness was a unique and unforgettable adventure for the father-daughter duo.

Exploring the Aircraft Hercules C-130 

The duo added another feather to their cap by diving into a sunken Hercules C-130 transport aircraft in the Red Sea in Aqaba, Jordan. At a depth of 55 feet, they explored the aircraft’s cockpit and middle section, making it a truly extraordinary underwater exploration experience.

Tisya has reached a remarkable milestone in her diving journey by completing a 100-foot deep dive. This accomplishment showcases not only her advanced skills but also her growing confidence and dedication to the sport. Diving to such a depth requires control, training, and mental strength, all of which Tisya continues to build with every dive.
